“Great hands and great speed,” that’s how Junior Rank President and CEO, Shaon Berry, summarized Collin Lisa, at the Greensboro, North Carolina Junior Rank combine. In fact, his speed and flexibility earned Lisa MVP recognition as well as a potential spot in the 2011 Diamond Bowl.
At 5’9” and 165 pounds, Lisa, who will enter Weddington High School this fall, has also been slated to play Varsity.
Lisa’s combine scores were impressive. He posted a 27.5” vertical, 4.38 second shuttle run and 4.8 second 40-yard dash.
“I felt like I could objectively compare myself to other student athletes my own age,” Lisa said. “I was exposed to experienced coaches who offered their advice and techniques. I was able to have my stats verified and posted on JuniorRank.com and learned the importance of being not just an athlete but a student.”
Lisa, who has a 3.0 GPA, has his sights set on Miami, Oregon or South Carolina for college football.
